Produced, shot and edited this video to show in service and online for GracePoint Church. Shot on iPhone 6 and GoPro5 and edited on Final Cut Pro.
Other mission trip recap videos:
After a string of tragedies in our community the Pastors got together and made this video to show unity between Churches.
Used a Canon Mark II 5D to shoot, a boom mic to capture audio, and Final Cut Pro to edit.
Giving is always so hard to talk about in church, so we produced a series of videos to help explain and educate on the importance and the benefits of giving.
Other Giving Videos:
While at Full Sail University, I received the course director’s award for Live Sound. Though that was not the career path I was heading at the time, I did see that I naturally thrived in that environment. I could think quick on my feet and see the bigger picture of what was and needed to happen. I believe already having been a musician and on many stages, I could emphasize with the talent as well as support them while keeping the audience goer in mind.
Some Live Production experiences I have had:
Urbana 2000
As an intern at 2100 Productions, a division of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, I was on the production team that helped with everything from set up, to the green room/speaker relations, to production of live sessions (where I cued and played all videos) to clean up and tear down. The most challenging thing I did for this was climbing up into the scoreboard, walking across the catwalks into the center of the arena to mount confetti cannons.
Franklin Graham Festival
During a Franklin Graham Festival in my hometown of Spartanburg, SC I was able to serve in the production van. I took time stamp notes of what was going on during the sessions so that the footage could be edited later for promotional materials. One big surprise was when Michael W Smith decided to change his set to a worship set at the last minute and needed someone to run his lyrics. I volunteered and got to sit down with him to go over the materials. We had our own little worship session, it was amazing!
GracePoint Coppell
During my 10 years at GracePoint Church in Coppell, TX I helped support the Worship Team both on stage as a cellist, but mostly from the production booth. There I helped program, train volunteers, run and produce services. Their production booth oversaw the audio, light, lyrics, livestream/cameras, and environmental projection.
In the production booth I worked with a Motif DigiDesign digital sound board, ProPresenter, BlackMagic Video Switcher system, LiveStream, AppleTV, and Canon Video Cameras.
